It lifts your air intake by more than 2 feet; which gives you room to ride through deeper mud holes with confidence. Even if your machine is equipped with a SuperATV lift kit or GDP Portals; this snorkel kit gives your Defender HD8 the clearance needed to push farther into the muck.
Everything Needed for a Watertight Upgrade
This comprehensive kit includes all the components needed to help safeguard vital systems from water. Three risers fit between the cab and dump bed to raise the engine air intake above the danger zone. Durable high-pressure coil hoses resist punctures and help maintain a reliable seal in demanding conditions. High-quality check valves protect the factory vent lines by helping keep water out. All required mounting hardware and brackets are included to simplify installation. The design works with a rear windshield and allows normal dump-bed operation.
